There are many hundreds of objects for you to explore as a subscriber to Object Lessons.

There are interactives, puzzles and quizzes throughout the site to add enjoyment to your visit. As an example, you could visit the Old Schoolroom and seek out the objects you want to find out more about. You could find a set of workcards and print them to make replicas for the classroom.

At 'Nature Close Up', you can see down the microscope at, for instance, a piece of coral, or a fossilised ammonite or even a 40 million year old insect in amber.

With our 360 degree viewer, you could look around a fertility carving from Nigeria, a Roman helmet, an Egyptian amulet or even see how a timber framed house was built.

There are picture and alphabet puzzles to assemble and many history and biology timelines to complete.

Object Lessons has been designed to help you discover the worlds of geology, biology and geography and bring to life many periods of British and World history.

Lastly, remember that all of the content of Object Lessons can be downloaded for any non-commercial educational use. Thanks for visiting. Why not arrange a free trial of the full site? Please go to our subscriptions page for more information.
